Kelly Rockall aka Rockall is an up & coming Brighton based DJ. She began her DJ’ing journey in 2018 when she first tried her hand at mixing vinyl. Rockall soon learned that she belonged behind the decks and began honing in on the sound that represents her as a DJ. Having always loved a darker/heavier sound which stems from her roots in rock & heavy metal music, Rockall began to delve into the world of Neurofunk which became the stable part of her weekly shows with RUAR Radio during lockdown. This new platform gave Rockall the opportunity to bring in guest mixes, enabling her to build her music profile even further. Participating in several livestreams throughout lockdown put her in the direction of playing for Yamatai Records for whom since she has taken on the Artist Management role. Rockall moved to Brighton last year and with that change came a new direction in her sound. Although still heavily influenced by the darker side of D&B came a more organic, rolling and deeper aspect of the genre which has emerged in recent sets. As a new DJ on the Brighton Circuit , Rockall has already represented on some of the most established events, such as Motive sessions and Basskonnection at the iconic Volks nightclub for some of her favourite labels including Dispatch, Metalheadz & Carbon. A highlight of Rockall’s DJ’ing journey so far was supporting Audio on Ram Records for his [unsocial] album launch at the end of last year. With a few events already in the bag this year, Rockall is excited to showcase who she is whether it be bookings for her as a solo artist or the b2b’s people have come to love with her duo partner Threts.
